Shalina Stone named Principal at CCSE High

Ms. Stone graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Education, then completed her EdS in Leadership at Lincoln Memorial University. She began her career in education in 1995 as a classroom teacher. After teaching 10 years, she became an instructional coach then later became an assistant principal. She eventually retired from Georgia as a principal. She received the Linda Hopping National Merit Award and Dr. Bob Pickett Effective Middle School Program Award in 2015 and 2018. During her time as principal at Bagley Middle School in Chatsworth, GA the school received the Georgia Lighthouse Schools to Watch designation in 2015 and re-designation in 2018. She joined the CCSE family in 2023 as the assistant principal at the high school. With 28 years of experience and a servant’s heart, we feel that Ms. Stone will do an amazing job!
