Arianna Gladney Named Principal in Residence at CCSE Middle

Arianna Gladney is a Stockton, California native who began her journey as an educator in Chattanooga in 2015. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry as a Magna Cum Laude graduate from the prestigious HBCU, Benedict College in 2012.  Benedict afforded Arianna the opportunity to become a published scientific author in 2012. Recognizing her purpose and passion for education, Arianna planted her roots as an Algebra/Geometry teacher at Brainerd High School from 2015-2020. There she received many accolades such as HCDE Model Teacher (2017-2020), PEF Clinical Instructor (2017-2020), Teacher of the Year (2019), Opportunity Zone Teacher of the Year Finalist (2019), WDEF Golden Apple Teacher (2019), and BEC Best Teacher Nominee (2019, 2020). Arianna pursued higher education and earned a Master’s Degree in Education with a 4.0 GPA in 2021.  

Arianna’s passion for cultivating an environment of learning transitioned her into a leadership role at Chattanooga Charter School of Excellence Middle as the Math/Science Instructional Coach. She served in this role from 2020-2022. Arianna began her role as an Assistant Principal at Chattanooga Charter School of Excellence Middle in 2022 and currently serves in that role. Her love for providing quality education to all children is what sustains her day in and day out. Arianna’s philosophy of education is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating and safe educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.
